Terms of Service

Ocean Gull (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is an independently operated astrology platform available at oceangull.com and app.oceangull.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. Contact: support@oceangull.com.

Ocean Gull provides astrological calculations and visualizations — natal charts, transits, fixed-star conjunctions, and written interpretations — based on the dates, times, and places you provide.

Astrological content is provided for self-reflection, exploration, and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice, and must not be used as a substitute for it.

Everything the Service shows you — charts, transits, conjunctions, and written interpretations — is information, not a recommendation or a call to action. Astrological traditions include challenging as well as favourable themes, and interpretations may touch on difficult subjects. How you read, feel about, and act on this content is entirely your own choice and responsibility; we accept no responsibility for your interpretation of it, your emotional response to it, or any decision or action you take because of it.

If content here affects you negatively, please step away from it — and if you are struggling, consider talking to a qualified professional.

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person.

• The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans; current prices and limits are listed on the pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for the transaction. We never store your card details.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload unlawful content;
• probe, overload, scrape, or disrupt the Service, or evade its fair-use and rate limits;
• use the Service or its content (including written interpretations and chart calculations) to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models without our prior written consent;
• reverse-engineer the Service or resell access to it without our written permission;
• misrepresent astrological output as professional advice when sharing it.

You own the data you enter and the files you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service — including its software, design, chart rendering, and written interpretations — is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it fast and reliable but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the fitness of astrological content for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; for emotional distress arising from astrological content; or for decisions and actions taken in reliance on that content (see Section 3). While we apply reasonable security measures, we are likewise not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control (see the Privacy Policy, Security section).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 3, 7–10, 13, and 14 survive termination.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Disputes we cannot resolve informally will be handled by the competent courts of Ukraine.

• If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service, with notice to you.
